About All Terrain Mobility
A family-run mobility shop, helping people stay independent since 2009.
Founded by Ian and Liz, All Terrain Mobility has grown from humble beginnings into a trusted local shop supporting customers across Essex with honest advice, quality products and long-term aftercare.

How It All Started
All Terrain Mobility began not as a business plan, but out of necessity.
In the early 2000s, Ian was dealing with long-term health issues and unable to work. What started as a way to keep busy soon turned into something much bigger... buying second-hand mobility scooters at auction, carefully reconditioning them at home, and selling them on to people who genuinely needed them.
Word spread, demand grew, and what began at home gradually evolved into a full-time family business.

Opening the Shop

In 2009, All Terrain Mobility officially opened in Rochford.
What started with just a handful of scooters quickly expanded into a full range of mobility products, from rise & recline chairs and wheelchairs to daily living aids and accessible vehicles.
The focus has always remained the same: honest advice, fair prices, and treating every customer with care and respect.
