Why tilt in space?
This single motor rise and recline chair provides the user with a two way tilt in space action (pictured below) that gives high leg elevation without the user experiencing friction or shearing around the lower back area:-
This is made possible as the unique tilt in space design retains the same angle between the seat and the back rest. This tilt in space mechanism therefore offers superior comfort when in the reclined position. This can be particularly important for users with lower back problems. The pressure and friction to the lower back area is significantly reduced compared to a traditional rise and recline chair. The tilt in space design is also particularly useful for users who spend a long time in the chair their position can be changed regularly relieving pressure points.
